Healthcare Assistants

We are currently seeking experienced Care Assistants to work as part of our friendly team at Ravenswing Manor Care Home. You will require an NVQ2 minimum or equivalent in Health & Social Care although full training will be given. We have full time and part time vacancies available for both Day and Night time shifts. You will be required to work on a flexible rota which includes some weekends and Bank Holidays. You will require good communication skills and enjoy working with elderly people. You may be required to communicate with GP’s, Nurses and members of the public. You will also require good written skills, as some administrative work is involved. Your role will involve assisting with and communicating with elderly people in all activities associated with their normal daily life. You will not be required to work from your home. However we do arrange outings for our Residents and which you may be required to attend. You will be required to attend training courses provided by the company as well as attend regular staff meetings. As part of the team you will be expected to help cover additional shifts such as staff holidays etc. We provide full employment contracts and paid annual leave etc. You will need a DBS Check to be carried out before you could start work. Cost to be met by the applicant.
