Peace of mind
We provide support for individuals in need of care and attention. Our trained staff provide person centred care and administer medication. Medical care is provided by General Practitioners and advice is available for those wishing to enrol with one of the local group practices who are known to us. Minor illnesses are normally cared for in the home, however in more serious cases, residents may be referred to the local hospital by their GP.
Our staff manage medical appointments at the Home or Medical Centres and family or a friend may be invited to attend. Alternatively, arrangements can be made for a resident to be accompanied by a member of staff.
Ravenswing Manor works closely with a wide array of medical and allied healthcare professionals who visit the Home to provide their services. These include GPs, District Nurses, Chiropodists, Hearing / Sight specialists and Dentists etc.

We would like to extend our thanks to all staff members who have cared for dad during his short stays with you. He was always treated with kindness, courtesy and respect with everyone at Ravenswing and he thought very highly of you all and the dedication you show to your work. You really made a difference to the quality of dad’s life in his last months. Thank you for easing and sharing our concerns and reminding us all that there are still lots of you ‘good guys’ out there.
Just to say a very big thank you to all of you at Ravenswing. You did a wonderful job looking after mum and I know she was very happy and content in your care. We will remember your kindness and consideration for a very long time. You should be very proud of your dedication, patience and love you give all your residents. We all miss Charlotte very much but we know she passed away in a place she loved.

My wife and I would like to express our thanks and appreciation for the loving care given to Mary during her final months in your lovely retirement Home. None could ever fault the care and attention given to Mary by your staff and nurses.
With sincere heartfelt thanks for the love and care to mum during her stay with you. You are all superb and the last 12 months were her happiest and ‘healthiest’ for many years. She made good friends and relied on you all implicitly. I will never forget your kindness and humour, greatly appreciated.
